A man has sustained injuries in a suspected road rage incident in south-west Sydney. Emergency services were alerted to a location in Punchbowl after bystanders discovered an unconscious man lying in the street. Upon their arrival, police and paramedics treated a 55-year-old man suffering from significant injuries.

Following immediate care at the scene, he was transported to Liverpool Hospital where his condition has since stabilised. The incident is currently under investigation, but details remain scarce at this stage. Authorities believe the man was driving when he paused at a traffic light. Reports indicate that he subsequently exited his vehicle to engage with another individual, which may have triggered a confrontation.

Investigators have noted the presence of an e-bike at the scene, although the rider departed shortly thereafter. One area of investigation involves determining whether this e-bike rider played a role in the ensuing altercation.

Police urge anyone with relevant information to reach out to Crime Stoppers to assist with their enquiries.
