An Adelaide father, Allan Moorhead, is urgently seeking assistance following the sudden and unexplained death of his son, Al McKenna, in Casablanca, Morocco. The 47-year-old’s passing has left his family deeply troubled, particularly due to the surrounding circumstances and the lack of an official death certificate.
Al’s girlfriend, Majda, claims he suffered a heart attack, but the family’s concerns intensified as he was buried just two days after his death, without any formal cause of death provided. Allan recounted receiving a video call on February 22 from Majda, where he could see Al’s body. However, communication with Majda has since ceased, with Allan stating, “She isn’t answering any phone calls, texts, anything.”
The mystery deepens as the family speculates that Al’s substantial wealth, stemming from his successful entrepreneurship managing three companies in the UK, could be a relevant factor in the circumstances of his death. Allan expressed his devastation, stating, “It’s soul destroying … I don’t know where to move, I don’t know what to do.”
While officials from the Department of Foreign Affairs confirm they are looking into the situation and providing consular support to the family, no indication suggests Majda was involved in Al’s death. The family is now left grappling with unanswered questions and seeking clarity on the tragic event.
