Emergency services responded to an incident on Rooding Street in Brighton around 9.45pm, where a black Subaru Forester crashed into two vehicles before rolling over. Following the collision, four individuals exited the car and fled the scene on foot, but were apprehended shortly after.
The occupants included a 17-year-old girl from Greater Dandenong, along with three 13-year-old girls from Frankston, Glen Eira, and Bayside, all of whom sustained minor injuries and required hospital treatment.
It was reported that the Subaru had been stolen earlier that evening from Rosstown Road in Carnegie. The teenagers are expected to face court proceedings at a later date.
