Authorities in South Australia are investigating an incident involving two individuals who were stabbed in the early hours of this morning. Emergency services received a call shortly before 1am regarding a disturbance at a residence on Columba Street in Morphett Vale.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 27-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was promptly transported to the hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment for serious injuries. Initial reports indicate that the man was assaulted when four intruders forcibly entered his home, leading to a violent encounter.
Compounding the situation, a 22-year-old man from Port Noarlunga later arrived at Flinders Medical Centre presenting with significant stab injuries, which police believe are linked to the same altercation.
In response to the attack, a crime scene has been established, and investigations are ongoing. Authorities have indicated that they do not consider this incident to be random, suggesting that there may be underlying circumstances prompting the violence.
