A man’s body was discovered on Talegalla Drive, near the Weir Road intersection in Talegalla Weir, at approximately 7:35 am on Sunday morning. He sustained significant injuries to his lower body and was found next to his gold Nissan Patrol vehicle.
Authorities launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death, quickly identifying a Ford Falcon utility that is believed to have been connected to the incident. This vehicle was located abandoned behind a derelict building on Bauple Woolooga Road in Bauple, roughly 11 kilometres from the site where the man was found, the day before.
In connection with the case, four individuals—two women and two men, aged in their 20s and 30s—were taken into custody at the location where the Ford was found. All four are expected to be interviewed by police as part of the ongoing investigation. The Ford Falcon is currently undergoing forensic analysis to gather more evidence relevant to the case.
