A 15-year-old girl has reportedly been involved in a serious incident in Victoria after crashing her Toyota Corolla into a tree while allegedly over the legal alcohol limit. Emergency services responded to the scene on Tom Roberts Parade in Point Cook at around 10.40pm last night.
Upon their arrival, authorities conducted a breath test on the young driver, who was found to have a blood alcohol concentration of 0.122, which is more than double the legal limit for adults. It is important to note that learner and provisional licence holders are prohibited from consuming alcohol while driving.
In addition to the driver, two 14-year-old girls and another 15-year-old girl received assistance from paramedics at the scene. The crash caused significant damage to the Corolla, according to police reports.
The driver is expected to face charges on summons for several offences, including drink driving, dangerous driving, driving without a licence, and other related traffic violations.
