The remains were found yesterday in Minto, sparking grave concerns regarding the circumstances surrounding the death of 20-year-old Jayden Harwood, a father of two who had been reported missing since March 1.
Harwood was last seen walking along Sackville Street in Ingleburn, where he was reportedly asking for assistance and borrowed a phone to contact his stepfather. During this call, he explained he was involved in a fight and needed help. His mother, Alanai-Brie Wallace, expressed her fears that this altercation may have ultimately led to her son’s tragic demise.
Among the searchers was Brittany Ellis, who noted the proximity of her location to where Harwood was found, reflecting on the unsettling reality of being so near but unable to save him. In a heartfelt gesture, she laid flowers on behalf of Harwood’s family.
