The mother of Jayden Harwood, a 20-year-old father of two from Sydney, has made an emotional appeal for information regarding her son’s mysterious disappearance, which has continued for over two months. Jayden was last spotted on March 1 while walking along Sackville Street in Ingleburn, where he was staying with his girlfriend’s family.

Witnesses reported seeing him going door to door seeking assistance before he borrowed a phone to contact his stepfather. In a prior conversation with his mother, Alanai-Brie Wallace, Jayden mentioned that he had been attacked and needed directions to return to his partner’s home. Initially classified as a missing person, authorities have now shifted their focus, with detectives treating the case as suspicious and investigating potential foul play.

In her heartfelt plea, Alanai-Brie expressed certainty that someone holds vital information about her son’s fate. “I need my son back, I need my baby back. I need to know what’s happened, why he’s not here,” she said. The local community in Sydney’s south-west is also rallying support, with volunteers, such as Brittany Wells, actively putting up posters and canvassing the neighbourhood for leads, even though they did not know Jayden personally. “He’s a real person, he’s got family that love him and children that love him,” Wells emphasised.

Despite extensive searches through nearby streets and bushland, Jayden remains missing, with both his bank accounts untouched and his phone switched off. Alanai-Brie poignantly noted that her son missed being with his daughter on her first birthday due to circumstances beyond their control. Authorities have interviewed several persons of interest in connection with the case, and Alanai-Brie has urged anyone with relevant information to come forward. “I just want my boy home,” she pleaded.

Anyone with information pertaining to Jayden’s disappearance is encouraged to reach out to Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000 or contact them online.
