Queensland Police are seeking public assistance in locating Tayla Spies, a 28-year-old mother who has been missing for over a week in the Roma and Dalby regions. She was last sighted on Sunday, February 2, travelling on the Carnarvon Highway, south of the Condamine turnoff towards Roma, between 10am and 1pm. At the time, Tayla was driving a distinctive white 2017 dual cab Toyota Hilux, featuring a black bumper bar and blacked-out wheels, with Queensland registration 559 GJ7.
Police have described Tayla as Caucasian, approximately 170 cm tall, with brown shoulder-length hair and blue eyes, and a slim build. A Facebook post by her friend, Tyran Norford, dated February 5, noted that she was last seen around 11:30 am, roughly 30 km from Surat on the Roma side, and that there has been no communication from her since.
Tayla’s sister, Rebecca, has also shared appeals for information on social media. Authorities are urging anyone with knowledge of Tayla’s whereabouts or any relevant information to contact them immediately.
