Former broadcaster Alan Jones has been hit with new charges by NSW Police, adding to his legal troubles as he now faces allegations involving an 11th victim. This development comes after Jones appeared in court in December 2022, where he was charged with 34 offences against 10 individuals.

According to police, detectives from the Child Abuse Squad filed an additional count of assault with an act of indecency concerning this latest alleged victim. The accusations against Jones stem from various incidents of indecent assault and sexual touching that are said to have occurred between 2001 and 2019.

Jones has been a controversial figure in the media, and these serious allegations add to his troubled public profile. He is currently out on bail following his arrest at his Circular Quay apartment, where he faced charges of inappropriate conduct towards multiple young men. As of now, he is scheduled to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday, March 11.

This case highlights ongoing concerns about allegations of sexual misconduct and the handling of such allegations by authorities, particularly in the media and sporting sectors. Police continue to investigate, and the public eye remains fixed on the developments in Jones’s legal proceedings.
