Drake has cancelled the remainder of his shows in Australia and New Zealand, a decision made months after initially postponing the tour due to a scheduling conflict. His management team had previously indicated they were working on rescheduling the dates and potentially adding extra shows.
Live Nation Australia has publicly confirmed the cancellation through a statement on its website. They expressed regret over the situation, stating that despite efforts to reschedule the performances, it was not feasible to do so within the required timeframe. Nonetheless, they noted that Drake remains open to returning for these shows once his schedule allows.
All ticket holders for the cancelled performances will receive refunds. The tour began in early February with shows in Perth, followed by performances in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. Following the cancellation, Drake’s private plane was reported to have departed from Brisbane, heading to Nadi, Fiji.
