Cyclist fatally struck by train in Brisbane

Emergency services discovered a 69-year-old man from Runcorn with head injuries close to the level crossing at Nathan Road and Penarth Street at around 4:30am today. Tragically, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

While road closures and diversions had been implemented following the incident, they have since been lifted and the roads are now open to traffic. Authorities are continuing their investigations into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
