Jahream Bula has dismissed speculation suggesting he might be next to depart the Wests Tigers, asserting his contentment with the club. In the wake of Lachlan Galvin’s impending exit at the end of the next season, Bula’s name surfaced in transfer discussions, particularly given his representation by the contentious Isaac Moses, known for his long-standing tensions with the Tigers.

During a media conference, Bula quickly quashed the rumours, stating, “I’m happy at this club – I don’t really want to talk about that stuff.” He emphasised his focus on the support from those close to him rather than external opinions, stating he ignores the “noise” that accompanies public scrutiny.

The 23-year-old fullback has proved to be a valuable player under coach Benji Marshall’s leadership and is contracted with the Tigers until the conclusion of the 2027 season. Despite the disruptions surrounding Galvin and the broader team dynamics, Bula remains unfazed, highlighting his positive relationship with Galvin and the latter’s resilience during challenging times.

As the Tigers prepare for their upcoming match against the Dragons in Magic Round, Bula’s commitment to the team remains steadfast, with no indications of a desire to leave the club in the near future.
