In a heartfelt interview, Port Adelaide captain Connor Rozee has vehemently rejected recent online speculation regarding his marriage and family, labelling the allegations as "absolutely untrue." During his appearance on SEN’s Fireball, Rozee expressed his dismay at the unfounded rumours circulating about him and his wife, Maisie.

He conveyed the emotional impact that this gossip has had on him, Maisie, and their children, emphasising that such misinformation is deeply hurtful. Rozee remarked, "It’s disappointing to know some can stoop that low," highlighting the unkind nature of those who find amusement in such serious matters, particularly when it affects the lives of his loved ones.

To clarify the situation, Rozee affirmed his strong relationship with Maisie, stating, "For anyone that’s still wondering, my wife and I are amazing; we’ve never been better." He also expressed satisfaction with his connections at the football club, calling the rumours "completely made-up" and stating that it had escalated beyond reasonable limits.

Moreover, Rozee indicated that the AFL’s integrity unit is investigating the matter and expressed a desire to identify the source of the false claims. He commented on the challenges posed by anonymity on the internet, noting how individuals can easily hide behind fake accounts to maligned others without consequences. Regardless of the negativity, Rozee stressed that the well-being of his family is paramount as they aim to move past this troubling episode.

Rozee and Maisie, who tied the knot in October 2024, are parents to a daughter and are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their second child early next year.
