Anna was remembered fondly by her colleagues at Cor Cordis, an insolvency firm where she worked for nearly two decades. Her coworkers described her as an “exceptional leader” and a “work mum”, highlighting her generosity and dedication.
The capsizing took place as Anna and twelve others were heading to the popular island of Nusa Penida, when they encountered large waves on Friday. While Anna was found unresponsive in the water, two other Australians, Gabriel Hijniakoff, 28, and Cintamani Warrington, 32, sustained injuries but were reported to be stable following treatment in a local hospital.
Cor Cordis expressed deep sorrow over Anna’s loss, commemorating her invaluable contributions to the firm.
