Car narrowly avoids collision with truck, crashes into police vehicle before apprehension on a peaceful Melbourne street.

Police attempted to stop a vehicle being driven recklessly through Tarneit, with the driver ignoring their signals and speeding along Palmers and Sayers Roads. During the pursuit, the car came close to colliding with a truck while travelling on Forsyth Road. The chase ended when the Ford stopped on Dylan Street, where the driver then reversed into a police vehicle. A 35-year-old man was apprehended at the scene and is set to be interviewed by law enforcement. The vehicle was subsequently impounded, incurring a cost of $1225.
