Police are currently investigating a concerning incident in Kellyville, where gunfire was directed at a home with two adults and a toddler asleep inside. The shooting occurred early this morning around 3:10 AM on Janamba Avenue, reportedly causing damage to the home’s windows.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the scene and swiftly began their inquiries. A couple in their thirties and their two-year-old child were present in the house at the time of the shooting, fortunately unharmed. However, the incident has raised alarms in the community about safety.
Soon after, authorities were alerted to a car fire on Gorman Avenue, not far from the earlier shooting location. Fire and Rescue responded quickly, extinguishing the flames; however, the vehicle was completely destroyed.
