Emergency services were alerted to a beach near Boneo Road at approximately 9:45am, prompting a search operation in the ocean. The Victoria Police Air Wing located an unresponsive man in the water. Despite attempts to resuscitate him after he was brought back to shore, he could not be saved and has not yet been publicly identified. A report regarding the incident will be compiled for the coroner’s review.
