Police arson specialists are set to investigate a tragic house fire in south-east Melbourne that occurred overnight. Emergency services responded to the incident on Lyppards Road in Langwarrin at approximately 2:10 am.
While three individuals managed to escape the premises unharmed, a fourth person, who has not yet been officially identified, was discovered deceased in a rear bungalow. Authorities are present at the scene this morning, and the cause of the fire remains undetermined at this stage. An arson chemist is scheduled to arrive later today to assist in the investigation.
