The body of a 17-year-old boy from Perth, who had been missing, has tragically been discovered. The teenager was last spotted disembarking from a bus in Armadale, located in the south-east suburbs of Perth, at approximately 9.15pm on Monday, March 31.
Today, a thorough ground search was initiated in the Mount Richon vicinity, where police and State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers meticulously combed through an area spanning five square kilometres.
Authorities confirmed the discovery of the boy’s body in a statement before 6pm (4pm AWST). A police spokesperson reassured the public that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, suggesting it was not the result of foul play. As per standard procedure, a report will be prepared for the coroner to investigate the circumstances further.
