In an updated lawsuit, Blake Lively’s legal team has expanded their claims against co-star Justin Baldoni, alleging sexual harassment and retaliation. The amended complaint, filed in New York federal court, includes nearly 50 pages detailing additional allegations from other women who reported feeling uncomfortable due to Baldoni’s behaviour on the set of It Ends With Us. The complaint claims that after Lively voiced her concerns in May 2023, another female cast member also approached Sony with similar issues regarding Baldoni.

Lively’s attorneys allege that rather than address the concerns, Baldoni retaliated against her by hiring a crisis management team to damage her reputation. They assert that the amended filing contains evidence of broader misconduct and intimidation campaigns targeting Lively and others who supported her claims.

Baldoni has denied these allegations and has counter-sued Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds for defamation, claiming they attempted to harm his reputation. The legal dispute has drawn significant media attention and union support for Lively, while Baldoni faces scrutiny from industry peers.

As the case prepares for trial in March 2026, both parties have expressed a desire to proceed without mediation, signalling a willingness to litigate publicly. Lively’s lawyers have also issued subpoenas to gather further evidence regarding the alleged smear campaign against her.
