A recall has been issued for baby slings sold by Tiny Triumphs due to the absence of essential safety warning labels. Product Safety Australia and the consumer watchdog ACCC have raised concerns that incorrect use of these slings could lead to serious risks, including suffocation or falls. The recall affects all slings purchased between January 6 and January 2023.
Authorities noted that these products did not include important safety information, which could leave consumers unaware of the dangers associated with their use. As such, the safety notice stresses that improper use can result in “death or serious injury” to infants.
Consumers who own these slings are advised to cease use immediately and can arrange for a refund by returning the items to the manufacturer. The slings were sold online across Australia, highlighting the widespread nature of this recall.
