In a recent incident in Mengwi, Bali, two Australian nationals were involved in a shooting at a villa, as reported by Badung Police Chief Arif Batubara. Tragically, one of the Australians was declared dead at the location of the incident. The second individual sustained injuries; however, these were not from gunfire but rather from an assault.
Authorities have indicated that the motive behind the shooting remains unclear. Local police are actively collecting evidence from the scene and are in the process of interviewing witnesses to piece together the circumstances surrounding the event.
