At the start of 2025, his agent began exploring opportunities with rival clubs, and within a mere two months, he struck a significant deal with the Newcastle Knights. The offer was a staggering $14 million over a span of ten years, commencing in 2026.
With this new contract in place, Brown will elevate his status to one of the highest earners in the league, joining forces with his new teammate, Kalyn Ponga, at the top of the earnings list next year.
