Security footage has revealed a dramatic firebomb attack on Hall of Fade Barbershop in Blackwood, South Australia. Police are currently investigating two suspicious fires at the establishment occurring over consecutive days. The latest incident transpired around 1:30 am when an explosion drew emergency services to the scene.

Firefighters quickly contained and extinguished the blaze that engulfed the barbershop. Security camera recordings show two individuals breaking into the shop carrying a jerry can. They subsequently ignited a fire which led to a significant explosion. Remarkably, the suspects themselves were caught in the fire, with one of them sustaining burns.

Upon arrival, emergency personnel noted extensive damage, with the front window smashed and flames throughout the interior of the shop. A jerry can was discovered outside still ablaze, as crew members worked to manage the situation. Smoke from the fire also posed issues for nearby businesses, with one witness, Moula Mohammad, stating that their establishment was filled with smoke.

This incident follows an earlier event at the same location where police found Molotov cocktails ignited on the footpath shortly after 9:10 pm on the preceding Sunday. The barbershop’s owner expressed confusion over the motives behind the attacks, stating he could not conceive why anyone would target his business.

Investigations are ongoing as authorities seek to identify the suspects and understand the motivation behind these troubling incidents.
