Joshua Dale Brown, an alleged paedophile, has been linked to yet another Melbourne childcare centre amid an ongoing police investigation into claims of child sexual abuse. G8 Education, the operator of several childcare facilities, informed parents via email that Brown, aged 26, worked a single shift at World of Learning Point Cook on 24 August 2023.

The communication, signed by G8 Education’s CEO Pejman Okhovat, aimed to maintain transparency and apologised for the delayed notification. It confirmed that there were no records of Brown working at the location on any other occasions. The letter indicated that the Victorian government and Victoria Police might reach out to parents with additional information or recommendations concerning the situation.

These allegations have created significant distress within the community, prompting G8 Education to focus on supporting those affected and cooperating fully with the Victoria Police to ensure justice for all involved.

Recent developments have revealed that Brown had worked at four more childcare centres than initially reported by authorities, with a total of 24 centres linked to his employment across Melbourne. He is currently facing 70 charges connected to eight alleged victims who attended Creative Gardens Early Learning Centre in Point Cook between April 2022 and January 2023.

As of now, there are no indications that any offences took place at the other centres where Brown was employed. The investigation remains active as police continue their inquiries into this troubling case.
