Adam Reynolds has expressed a strong desire to extend his NRL career beyond the current season, although he acknowledges that the Brisbane Broncos may not necessarily retain him. The seasoned halfback, who is set to captain the Broncos this year, faced injury setbacks last season, leading to just 13 game appearances as the team fell short of the finals.

Since joining the club, Reynolds has had a significant impact, yet he has yet to break the Broncos’ premiership drought, narrowly missing out in 2023. In a discussion with 9News Sydney, he indicated that he is eager to continue playing, provided he maintains a high level of performance and the team values his contribution.

With the milestone of his 300th game on the horizon, Reynolds is reconnecting with coach Michael Maguire, marking a full-circle moment following their successful tenure at South Sydney. Despite concerns over the demands of the pre-season, Reynolds remains unfazed, emphasising the importance of a tough preparation to achieve success. The Broncos’ season kicks off against the Sydney Roosters on March 6.
