A significant recall has been issued for the Valley Sisters’ DUCK4X4 Travel Folding Electric Kettle due to a serious safety risk. Australia’s product safety authority has identified a flaw in the kettle’s design: it lacks an automatic shut-off feature, meaning it does not turn off once the water reaches boiling point. This oversight poses a danger, with the potential for the kettle to overheat, resulting in severe burn injuries or even fires.

Manufactured in China, the kettle was available for purchase through the online retailer Oz Off Road from November 1, 2024, to March 30, 2025. In light of these safety concerns, customers who have purchased this kettle are strongly advised to cease any further use immediately. They should contact Oz Off Road to arrange for the return of the kettle, which will qualify for a full refund.

The recall notice highlights the importance of prompt action to prevent possible harm. Consumers are urged to spread the word about this issue to ensure that anyone who may be using this kettle is aware of the risks involved.
