Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz announced on Monday that Israeli forces have successfully eliminated the intelligence chief of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard. Katz described the actions taken against the Revolutionary Guard, stating, “They are targeting civilians, and we are systematically removing the leaders of these terrorists.” He emphasised that the Iranian leadership is acutely aware of the threats they face, pledging that Israel will relentlessly pursue and neutralise them.
In addition to the targeted strikes against key figures, Katz reported significant damage inflicted upon Iran’s steel and petrochemical sectors. He reaffirmed Israel’s commitment to dismantling Iran’s national infrastructure, which he believes will contribute to the weakening and eventual collapse of what he referred to as a “terrorist regime.” Katz’s statements highlight Israel’s strategic approach to countering threats and assert its determination to protect its national security against any aggressions from Iran.
