Authorities received notifications of a fire on the top floor of a hotel located on Surfers Paradise Boulevard around 1:55 am. Firefighters managed to control and extinguish the flames in less than an hour, concluding their operations by approximately 2:40 am. Following the incident, guests were permitted to re-enter the hotel. Investigations into the origin of the fire are currently underway.
