Four individuals, including two men and two teenagers, are set to face legal proceedings following a violent altercation in western Sydney.
The incident unfolded on Rosina Street, Fairfield, around 5:15 PM on a recent day, prompting police to respond to reports of a brawl involving both men and women. Upon arriving at the scene, officers were informed of the chaos that had erupted.
Police investigations revealed that various objects, such as bricks and wooden sticks, were allegedly wielded during the violence. Paramedics responded to provide medical assistance, tending to two injured men, aged 21 and 40, who were subsequently transported to Liverpool Hospital in stable condition.
The 21-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Fairfield Police Station. In addition, a 38-year-old man and a 53-year-old man were also apprehended, alongside the two teenagers. The men face charges of affray, with the older man specifically charged with being armed with intent to commit an offence. All three adults have been denied bail and are expected to appear in Fairfield Local Court.
Meanwhile, the two teenage boys have also been charged with affray and armed with intent to commit indictable offences. They, too, have been refused bail and are scheduled to appear in a Children’s Court.
At this stage, no charges have been filed against the 21-year-old man involved in the brawl. The incident continues to be investigated by local authorities as they gather further information regarding the events leading to the violent clash.
