At approximately 3:15 pm yesterday, gunfire erupted near a group of men standing by a car on The Boulevarde in Brighton-Le-Sands. CCTV footage from a nearby restaurant captured the moment an Audi SUV veered off the road, fired five shots, and then quickly sped away. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries from the incident.

After the shooting, three men fled the scene before police arrived, who later discovered bullet holes in nearby vehicles. The abandoned Audi was located about 30 minutes away, engulfed in flames on Windarra Street in Narwee. Authorities are currently investigating the matter as a suspected failed gangland assassination attempt, and inquiries are ongoing.
