An exclusion zone was established on Miller Street, between Blue Street and the Pacific Highway, just before 8am. Footage from the scene revealed numerous police vehicles with their lights activated, accompanied by ambulances. According to NSW Police, a suspicious item found on the footpath raised safety alarms. After a thorough inspection of the item, the roadblock was removed at approximately 8.15am. The area has since been declared safe for public access.
