A 39-year-old man from Redan has been charged with multiple offences, including the possession of child abuse material, following a series of alleged upskirting incidents in Victoria. Investigators assert that the material was obtained without the victims’ knowledge or consent.
Detectives conducted searches at various locations within the Ballarat area, where they confiscated several electronic devices linked to the case. The man now faces serious charges, including two counts of producing intimate images, two counts of possessing child abuse material, as well as charges for stalking and public nuisance.
He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear in Ballarat Magistrates Court today.
