Commonwealth Bank customers faced significant service disruptions this morning as scheduled maintenance extended beyond expectations. At 8:30 AM, the bank issued an apology acknowledging the ongoing delays and noted that various services were impacted by the outage. Although customers could still use their debit cards, restrictions on transaction amounts were reported for some purchases and withdrawals.
The incoming disruption also affected several features within the CommBank app, including payments and transfers. By 10:25 AM, however, the bank announced that all services had resumed and apologised once again for the inconvenience caused to its customers.
