This morning, identical triplets Abigail, Phoebe, and Hannah Dodd joined thousands of young South Australians on their first day at Vale Park Primary School. Parents John and Sarah Dodd felt a mix of emotions but are relieved by the state government’s new cost of living support. This year, all children from reception to year nine can access two $100 sports vouchers, which for the first time can also be used for music lessons and other recreational activities.
One parent expressed excitement over the music opportunities, noting that it might provide new avenues for their child’s interests. The government has promised families further assistance and rebates throughout the school year, aiming to ease financial pressures associated with education.
