A suspect has been arrested in connection with a vehicle break-in that occurred in July, during which unreleased music by Beyoncé was allegedly stolen, according to authorities in Atlanta. The accused, identified as Kelvin Evans, has been charged with entering a vehicle with the intent to commit theft and violating parole conditions. Currently, there is no record of an attorney representing him in Fulton County.
On July 8, Beyoncé’s choreographer, Christopher Grant, and dancer, Diandre Blue, reported the incident to the police while they were touring in Atlanta. They discovered that a window of their rental vehicle had been smashed, resulting in the theft of two suitcases while they were dining at a nearby restaurant. Grant informed the police that he had been carrying some sensitive personal information for Beyoncé at the time of the break-in.
The police report noted that among the stolen items were two Apple laptops and five thumb drives, which contained not only the unreleased music but also various digital files related to Beyoncé’s tour. An Atlanta police spokesperson confirmed that none of the stolen items have been recovered as of now.
