The adolescent went swimming in the Macquarie River near Sandy Beach Road in Dubbo around 5:40 PM yesterday and subsequently vanished. The teenager was last seen wearing blue Adidas shorts, prompting an urgent response from rescuers. Sadly, around 12:30 PM, authorities found a body during their search efforts. Police are currently preparing a report for the coroner to investigate the circumstances surrounding the boy’s death.
