A spokesperson from SA Ambulance confirmed that the infant was transported to the Women and Children’s Hospital for medical care. The child’s age and condition have not been disclosed. Notably, Ashley Street is a busy area that hosts both a preschool and a primary school. According to SA Police, there is no ongoing investigation related to the incident at this time.
