A tragic incident occurred on Naracoorte Road, approximately 25 kilometres south of Bordertown near Adelaide, where a 34-year-old woman was found deceased in the front seat of a Mitsubishi that had crashed into a tree. The accident took place around 8pm yesterday, and emergency services responded promptly to the scene.

While the woman was pronounced dead at the site of the crash, a young boy was discovered alive in the back of the vehicle. He was subsequently transported to the hospital and reported to have sustained only minor injuries.

Following the accident, Naracoorte Road was temporarily closed to allow for a thorough investigation by authorities; however, it has since been reopened for traffic.
