Tickets for the highly anticipated 100th edition of the Royal Adelaide Show went on sale this morning, with the event set to commence in just 29 days at the Adelaide Showgrounds. The organisers have curated a diverse program full of performances and activities geared towards families, although admission prices for adult tickets have seen a slight increase.
A notable highlight this year includes the return of the popular Bluey stage show, which will feature three times as many performances as last year. Children’s favourite Peppa Pig will also make a comeback, promising fun for the younger audience.
A new and exciting feature for attendees is the Southern Lights Spectacular, touted as an Australian-first. This nightly 30-minute spectacle will showcase an impressive display of drones, lasers, and various special effects.
Royal Adelaide Show chief executive Will Rayner remarked that they anticipate welcoming around half a million visitors, which equates to about one in every three South Australians attending the event annually.
While children’s ticket prices will remain unchanged, adult tickets have increased by $1, and family tickets for weekdays have gone up by $3.50. Tickets are available for purchase both online and at Drakes supermarkets, ensuring accessibility for all interested attendees.
