A recent court hearing in Ensenada, a coastal city in Baja California, has brought updates regarding four individuals accused of a serious crime. Two of the accused were present in the courtroom, while the other two participated via video link from their respective prisons.
The incident that led to the charges involved an attack on the suspects at their campsite, resulting in the tragic disposal of their bodies in a well approximately six kilometres from the crime scene.
During the hearing, it was confirmed that the cases against the four accused will proceed on separate paths. The individual facing the gravest charges has had his hearing postponed to August 9, whereas the other three have been scheduled for November 13. This extension is intended to provide the defendants with additional time to negotiate potential plea deals with the prosecution.
