A light plane crash in Queensland’s Darling Downs has raised concerns for the lives of two individuals. The incident involved a twin turboprop Reims-Cessna F406 aircraft that went down near Oakey, situated north-west of Toowoomba, around 3pm today. The aircraft was en route to Brisbane from Warwick when it reportedly circled before losing altitude sharply, dropping from 3000 feet to 1200 feet in just a matter of seconds.

Tragically, the pilot and co-pilot are both feared to have perished in the crash. In response to the accident, the Australian Transport Safety Bureau has initiated an investigation to determine the cause of this tragic event.
