Authorities are searching for five individuals involved in an arson incident targeting a business in Greensborough, Melbourne, during the early hours of the weekend. The suspects entered the premises situated on Para Road around 3:55 AM, where they deliberately set fire to three vehicles.

In addition to the arson, the group used red spray paint to vandalise both the cars and a nearby wall with slogans. The fire resulted in the complete destruction of one vehicle, while the other two incurred moderate damage.

Witness reports suggest that the group fled the scene by climbing over a back fence, last seen heading south-west along the Plenty River on e-bikes. All suspects were donned in black hooded jumpers, gloves, and carried backpacks.

Investigators are also looking into whether this act is related to a recent arson attack on a synagogue in Melbourne’s east, although no links have been established at this time. The police have encouraged anyone with information regarding this incident to contact Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000 or through their website.
