Authorities discovered the bodies of two men, presumed to have died separately at their residence, in inner Sydney. The police were alerted to conduct a welfare check on a property located on Cleveland Street in Surry Hills around 2pm yesterday. Upon their arrival, officers located the first body within the home, prompting the establishment of a crime scene. Shortly thereafter, they found a second body in another room of the house.

Investigators believe that both men passed away at different intervals over the past month. While they have yet to be formally identified, initial assessments suggest that the men were likely in their 70s and 80s. A 63-year-old woman residing in the same property has been in contact with detectives as part of the ongoing investigation.

Authorities are actively pursuing leads and have urged anyone with relevant information to step forward.
