New footage has surfaced, purportedly showing Tamika Chesser, a former reality TV contestant, shortly before she allegedly set her partner’s remains on fire. Her sister expressed disbelief, claiming the allegations contradict Chesser’s true character. Police are examining footage of a woman, identified as Chesser, who appeared to be walking her dog while holding what resembles a jerrycan.
The disturbing events unfolded in Port Lincoln, South Australia, where Chesser is accused of murdering her partner, Julian Story, and dismembering his body, just days before burning his remains. Three hours after the incident, police reportedly unearthed evidence of her alleged crimes. Her family, observing from Queensland, expressed their shock upon hearing the news.
Chesser’s sister mentioned that she harboured concerns about Chesser’s mental health in the months leading up to these allegations. She described a troubling decline in her sister’s wellbeing, noting erratic appearances and admissions of love without further explanation. Currently, Chesser is under police custody within a mental health facility in Adelaide, with her family unable to maintain any contact, and her sister described her as unresponsive.
Police have yet to officially interrogate the 34-year-old due to her condition, continuing their search for Story’s missing body parts, including his head, following the ominous discovery of his remains without a significant portion of it after officers responded to a fire.
The investigation remains active, and despite limited results so far, authorities are committed to finding the missing remains and providing answers to Story’s family amidst the ongoing tragedy surrounding these allegations.
