A significant incident occurred early this morning around 4.20am on Evelyn Street in Macquarie Fields. According to police reports, a Porsche Macan collided with an electricity transformer before crashing through a front fence and striking a single-storey house, ultimately coming to rest atop a bed.
Witnesses believe that two individuals may have fled the scene following the crash. Fortunately, the house was unoccupied at the time, with no reported injuries resulting from the accident. Photographs captured at the site reveal considerable damage, showing the Porsche partially embedded in the residence among debris and rubble.
Authorities ensured the wrecked vehicle was subsequently towed away from the scene.
