A search operation is currently underway for Christopher Moore, a 38-year-old who failed to return from a camping trip near Jervis Bay, located on the New South Wales south coast. Moore was dropped off at Twelve Mile Road in Jerrawangala, approximately 32km south of Nowra, around 10.30am on Wednesday. He was scheduled to be collected from the same location on Friday but did not show up as expected.

Authorities, including the South Coast Police, Police Rescue, and volunteers from the State Emergency Service (SES) and the Rural Fire Service, are actively searching for him. Both police and his family have expressed serious concerns regarding his well-being.

Moore is described as being Caucasian, approximately 180cm tall, of a slender build, with short light brown hair, a beard, and a moustache. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing khaki and black pants along with a khaki hooded jumper. Police believe he may still be in the Jerrawangala or Wandandian areas.
