A manhunt is currently underway following a violent altercation at a shopping centre in western Sydney, where two individuals sustained stab wounds. The incident took place around 5pm inside a Kmart at Westfield Mount Druitt, originating from a confrontation involving a group of men.

As the brawl escalated, it spilled out of the shopping complex, resulting in two stabbings. According to New South Wales Police, one victim, a man in his twenties, was found with severe stab injuries to his upper body and was promptly rushed to Westmead Hospital in critical condition. A younger male, reportedly in his early teens, suffered cuts to his hand and face and was transported to hospital in a stable state. A third man in his twenties also received treatment for minor injuries.

Police have established two crime scenes, one within the Kmart and another in the vicinity outside the shopping centre. Investigators have collected several items of interest, including a butter knife linked to the incident. No arrests have yet been made, and authorities are appealing for any witnesses or individuals with information to reach out to Crime Stoppers.

This incident has heightened concerns regarding safety in public spaces, as details of the altercation and the identities of the individuals involved are still under investigation. As police continue their search for suspects, the community remains on alert for any further developments.
