Teenager Hit by Vehicle in Suspected Hit-and-Run Incident in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs

A teenage boy has been admitted to hospital following an alleged hit-and-run incident in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The incident occurred early today at approximately 4am on Beauchamp Road, Maroubra, where emergency services responded to reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle.

The boy sustained severe injuries to both legs and has since been transported to Randwick Hospital, where he is currently in stable condition. It has been reported that the driver of the vehicle involved fled the scene shortly after the accident.

Authorities from NSW Police are actively investigating the incident and exploring multiple avenues, including the possibility that the collision was intentional. A manhunt is currently underway to locate the driver responsible for the hit-and-run.
